Cormac Connloinges

Cormac was the son of Conchobar Mac Nessa, king of Ulaid (Ulster).

Cormac was one of the champions of Conaire Mor, high king of Ireland (see the Destruction of Da Derga's Hostel for the full story).

Cormac was also one of the exiles, when Conchobar had the sons of Uisnech killed. He became a companion of Fergus Mac Roich during his exile, and took part in Connacht's cattle raid in Ulster. When Fergus was about to strike Conchobar down with his sword, only Cormac's pleas restrained Fergus.
