Creon of Corinth
Creon (not to be confused with Creon of Thebes) was a king of Corinth and the father of Glauce (also known as Creusa in Roman mythology), who became the second wife of Jason. Jason’s first wife, Medea, presented Glauce with a cursed dress as a wedding gift, which burned her to death as soon as she put it on, and Creon burnt to death too as he tried to save her.
