Oneiroi (Dreams)

The Oneiroi or Dreams were the children of either Nox (Nyx), the goddess of night, or Somnus (Hypnos), the god of sleep. The Oneiroi were Icelos or Phoebetor, Morpheus, and Phantasos.

All three gods had the ability to assume various forms. Morpheus could assume the form of a human, while Phoebetor could transform himself into any animal. Phantasos could only assume the shape of inanimate objects such as rocks, trees, or water.

The Oneiroi dwelt at the entrance to the Underworld.
