Ate
Goddess of folly and moral blindness. She was merely a personification of folly. Ate (Ἄτη) was the daughter of Eris (Strife). Agamemnon blamed Ate for his quarrel with Achilles. Zeus threw her out of heaven (Olympus) for aiding Hera so that Eurystheus would be the future king of Mycenae, instead of his own son Heracles.
